Three blogging goals

Today’s assignment: consider what you want to accomplish with your blog. Write down three concrete goals you want to achieve.

It’s been few months that I joined the blogosphere and I am not very acquainted with all the techniques of blogging. But slowly I am getting hold of this and I hope that Blogging201 will be helpful in my pursuit. I started blogging to express my feelings about anything be it social, political, day to day happenings and many other aspects of life. Initially blogging was for fun but as time is passing by, I am quite loving this blogging thingy. Till now I didn’t have any goals regarding my blogging, but after seeing this assignment on Blogging201, I have set aside few goals to be accomplished in near future. My goals are:-

1. Increase the number of my blog’s followers and traffic – I want to increase the number of followers of my blog by double by the end of December. By followers, I don’t mean just followers but the ones who would really go through my blog posts and give their valuable comments. I also want to increase my blog’s traffic by 30% by the end of December 2014.

2. Write more posts per month – Now I write usually 4-5 or sometimes 6 posts in a month, I want to increase that to about 10 posts in a month by April 2015.

3. Start one weekly feature – I would like to start a weekly feature like Funny Fridays from March 2015. Till now I have not decided about any particular feature but will decide about it in coming days.

4. Manage my blogging time properly – When I start reading other’s blog posts, I keep on reading and it takes lots of time. I want to dedicate some time for reading books. In the coming 6 months, I will sort this out. As i will gain experience i will be able to manage my time properly.

I hope to accomplish all my goals in the scheduled timeframe.
